About PACK Taiwan
We give a home and hope for Taiwan's forgotten dogs.
Our Vision
We dream of a Taiwan where every dog finds a loving home.
Our Mission
PACK Taiwan is the guardian of forgotten dogs. Our center, PACK HQ, is both sanctuary and shelter and offers them a high quality home and the best hope for a fulfilling life.
Our History

In 2013, a group of animal lovers banded together to create PACK (People for Animal Care and Kindness). In the early days, PACK rescued and provided care for all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, duck and more.
In 2016, PACK was officially registered as a non-government, non-profit organization. With the revision of the Animal Protection Act in 2017 to ban the euthanasia of stray animals, PACK gradually shifted its focus to decreasing the number of homeless dogs in Taiwan. Today, PACK Taiwan focuses on providing homeless dogs with a high quality home and the best chance of finding a forever home.
PACK actively works to increase the Taiwan public’s acceptance of forgotten dogs and encourages people to take action by adopting, fostering or donating.

Sandy, Foster Manager
Sandy is in charge of the third and fourth stages of PACK Academy, helping the dogs who have completed the first and second stages at PACK Academy to join their foster family and start the next chapter of their journey. The dogs will continue to be trained and the result of their behavioral observations will all be kept in each dog's profile so that Sandy will be able to find the right fit for both the adoptive family and the dog based on each dog's unique personality.

Brendon, Finance and Admin Supervisor
Brendon is responsible for PACK's financial and administrative affairs. Having been working in the finance and accounting field for more than 20 years, Brendon hopes to make use of his past work experience to make sure that PACK operates in compliance with governmental norms, makes good use of each donation, and maintains financial transparency and high accountability.

Winnie, Training and Assessment Specialist
Winnie is in charge of the first and second stages of PACK Academy. Growing up with the dogs in PACK, Winnie always carefully observes each dog's personality, establishes a good way to communicate between dogs and humans, and accompanies the adoptive family to get through the adjustment period with their dogs.
