My story
Jerry has been at PACK HQ since the very beginning. She was on the streets for many years and was happy to come to PACK Taiwan. She is a quiet and cautious girl because of her past experiences. She likes to bundle up in her personal space but loves to be around her humans.
Personality
Jerry is a quiet and introverted dog. She is more of a follower and will take a back seat when there is a strong leader present. Sometimes she will come off as aloof and disengaged but she is actually observing your every move. Jerry is slow to warm up, but once you win her over she is loyal like no other dog.

Jerry is generally very low-key and relaxed. She likes to go for walks but she's not hyper.

Jerry has no health issues that we are aware of. However, because of her advanced age, she is starting to show some signs of physical weakness, particularly in her hind legs.

Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Jerry needs time to get used to strangers.
Dogs
Good with other dogs but will warn the rude ones.
Cats
Jerry can live with cats.
Kids
She doesn't have much of a reaction around kids.
Noise
She might get scared at sudden sounds and try to hide.
Touch
Jerry is used to being pet anywhere.

Behavior observations
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Barking
Jerry very rarely barks.
Seperation Anxiety
Jerry has not exhibited signs of separation anxiety.
Aggression
Might show teeth but has never bitten.
Resource Guarding
Never towards humans, will growl at dogs who try to take her food.
Destructive Chewing
We haven't observed destructive behavior, but she has gotten to food in the trash can.

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
